Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Helping You To Find Your Balance

I am a counsellor who will provide a safe and confidential environment where you can talk about whatever is troubling you, without judgement.

I believe that a trusting, honest, therapeutic relationship between you and your therapist, is crucial in helping you towards self-acceptance and an understanding of what is affecting you. I will do my best to help create such a relationship.

If you think that this may be helpful to you, please don't hesitate to get in contact.

About Me

Sometimes life can be challenging, counselling and psychotherapy can provide an unconditional and safe space to be heard, to explore issues of concern and have someone listen and understand your unique experiences.

I am based in Essex, I'm fully qualified and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Counselling Sessions

I offer counselling grounded in the Person-Centred Approach. Information about this and other approaches is available from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) via the link below.

All Counselling sessions are scheduled at mutually agreed times, last for 50 minutes and are priced from £40 for students and NHS staff and £50 all others.

Online sessions are via Zoom or Skype and basic technical support is available. I also offer walk and talk sessions as well as home visits.

We will review and reassess our work together at regular intervals

Full details are set out in our counselling agreement which is discussed at commencement.

Leaf

Life as a therapist is a life of service in which we daily transcend our personal wishes and turn our gaze toward the needs and growth of the other. We take pleasure not only in the growth of our patient but also in the ripple effect—the salutary influence our patients have upon those whom they touch in life.
